Group Support Meetings

Join us for our bi-monthly group support meetings, where individuals and families affected by mental illness come together to connect, share experiences, and find solidarity in their journeys. These meetings provide a welcoming and supportive environment for participants to build connections, reduce isolation, and foster a sense of belonging within the community.

Our bi-monthly group support meetings are held in various locations around the Sunshine Coast Region for convenience and accessibility. Check our website or contact us for details on upcoming meeting dates, times, and locations. We welcome individuals and families of all backgrounds to join us in building a supportive and resilient community.

Peer Support

Our group support meetings offer an invaluable opportunity for peer support. Participants can share their challenges, triumphs, and insights with others who understand firsthand the complexities of living with mental illness or caring for a loved one. Through mutual support and understanding, attendees gain strength, resilience, and encouragement to navigate their mental health journeys.

Access to Resources

In addition to emotional support, our group meetings provide access to valuable resources and information. Mental health professionals are present to offer guidance, answer questions, and provide information on accessing government programs such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Participants can learn about available support services, community resources, and strategies for managing mental health challenges effectively.

Empowerment & Education

Our group meetings are not only a place for support but also a space for empowerment and education. Through workshops, guest speakers, and facilitated discussions, participants gain valuable insights into mental health topics, coping strategies, and self-care practices. Attendees leave our meetings feeling empowered, informed, and equipped with tools to enhance their mental well-being.
